London Borough commits to Climate Emmission Reduction: ISLINGTON CLIMATE CHANGE PARTNERSHIP (ICCP)

The London Borough of Islington has formed a partnership of local groups and bodies, committed to reducing their carbon emmissions by 15% over a 3-year period.

The Islington Climate Change Partnership (ICCP) provides a wide range of support to its local member groups. This includes free energy surveys, with a detailed report providing methods to reduce energy consumption; plus ongoing support and mentoring, events, workshops and opportunities to network and share advice across all sectors in Islington.

Sixty organisations have joined the Partnership. This includes large companies with premises in Islington such as Royal Mail and Starbucks, hospitals, universities; together with smaller organisations like pubs, restaurants, charities and shops.
