Salary: £26,700 - £28,950 depending on relevant experience
Hours: 36 hours a week flexi-time
Location: Based in our office in Kennington, SE London

Do you have a passion for sustainable transport?
We are looking for a key member of our small Sustainable Transport Team who will work on a diverse range of projects for the private, public and third sectors. You will manage existing projects and clients
as well as identifying new opportunities for work and funding. Your commitment to the environment will be invaluable as it is essential you keep abreast of current sustainable transport research and policy.

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to manage projects and budgets, who is able to communicate, enthuse and ultimately change the behaviour of our diverse audiences. A good cultural fit, belief in our aims and a desire to learn are vital. Transport specific experience not essential.

The role includes:

a.. Planning, managing, promoting and delivering sustainable transport projects, relating to alternative fuels and vehicle technology, car clubs and car sharing, travel planning and travel awareness
b.. Maintaining long term client relationships
c.. Sustainable transport research
d.. Developing project and funding ideas

Recent transport team projects include; biodiesel feasibility studies, European mobility management research, demonstration projects, and local community walking and cycling initiatives.

Surveying and Data Entry Temps
We are looking for people who might be interested in doing the odd day of transport surveying and data entry on a freelance basis. This would be ideal work experience for students interested in sustainable transport or anyone else looking to gain survey administration skills. We are building a list of people who would be available intermittently, during work hours (Monday to Friday 9-5), over the next few months as and when the work is scheduled.

The hourly rate is to be confirmed but is likely to be in the range of £10 - £12. You would be working in our office near Kennington tube station and it may also involve conducting surveys at other locations in South London.
