SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY
FOOD AND OBESITY PROGRAMME MANAGER
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at a Greater London-wide level to tackle obesity and promote healthy food.
The post holder will support the delivery of
Healthy Weight Healthy Lives across Greater London. They will strengthen regional
systems by ensuring effective joined up approaches across pan-London
agencies; and add value to local activity by supporting development
priorities including Local Area Agreements, child health and health
improvement Public Service Agreements, the NHS operating framework and joint
commissioning for health and well-being.
A critical aspect of the role
will be working in partnership with the
Government Office for London, the
Greater London Authority, NHS London, Sport England London Region, Primary
Care Trusts and Local Authorities.
The post holder will work in collaboration
with Regional Healthy Schools Co-ordinators, School Food Co-ordinators and
Physical Activity and Health
Co-ordinators.
We are looking for an
excellent communicator with a track record of
delivering complex programmes.
The postholder will have experience of leading cross-agency initiatives to
tackle health improvement and inequalities, and good knowledge of evidence
base regarding food and health, and obesity.
