‘The time for simply talking about electric vehicles is over — we need real action on the ground to make the electric vehicle an easy choice for Londoners.’ The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson

Electric vehicles offer a clean, green and economical alternative to petrol and diesel powered transport. There are currently 1,700 electric vehicles being used in London, a figure the Mayor wants to boost to 100,000 (or five per cent of the capital’s fleet) as soon as possible.
