CYCLING DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

London Cycling Campaign has successfully campaigned for hundreds of Cycle improvements over the last 30 years. With over 11,000 members, we're at the heart of Cycling in Greater London and have helped secure millions of pounds of Cycling investment, resulting in a doubling of Cycling in the last ten years.

If you are a highly skilled communicator with the ability to develop and motivate a diverse range of volunteers we want to pass the baton to you. We want you to support and develop our borough groups who promote cycling, organise rides and work with local authorities on issues which impact on cyclists.

With over £120 million being spent on cycling in London you will have the scope to really make London a better city. It's a wide and varying role. You'll be dealing with politicians and London's decision makers, delivering funded ride programmes, producing training and communications plans, and providing regular updates on developments in transport to ensure your borough groups are best equipped to influence cycling change.

Ideally, you will have experience of working with community based organisations and of project delivery. You will relish the challenges of working for a fast moving organisation that really makes a difference in London.

The job is 35 hours per week, permanent contract, based in Southwark. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
