More Record Viewing Figures for Green.TV
Filed under: Networks News Information, Communication & Research
April was green.tv's most popular month ever — each day we had over 9,000 visits and over 34,000 page impressions. This resulted in over 1m page impressions.
The success continued across on MySpaceTV where a film from partners Oceana, Mating Season, had over 134,000 views in a weekend. green.tv's MySpace channel has now enjoyed over 258,000 views on MySpaceTV — making us more popular than the NME's channel!
green.tv has a new sponsor, Ethical Superstore. Ethical Superstore is the one stop shop for ethical gifts, eco-friendly gadgets, fair trade and organic groceries - they're sponsoring our 'Climate Change' channel, go pay them a visit!
Good Energy have also been a long-term friend of green.tv's and we're delighted to give a gratuitous plug for their 100% Renewable Electricity!
green.tv's mission is to ensure the messages of all our films get seen by as many people as possible — that's why we have partnerships with the likes of Tiscali, The Independent, MySpaceTV, Blinkx etc. Our latest partnership is with MSN UK who will be showing a selection of green.tv films on their new MSN Environment pages - they have the potential to reach over 20m UK users a month.
New films in April included contributions from IFAW, NRDC, Green Travel Guides and The Green Thing.
Look out for the June issue of Reader's Digest where green.tv MD Mike Lamond appears in a feature about why he's not flying for his holidays - he's clearly blessed with a face for radio!
