Not for us the style barometer — oh no, here's the eco-thermometer, marking out what's hot and what's not on the green scene. Although clearly, in global warming terms, hot isn't all that hot...

Moveover, glamping: the new way to camp is dressed as a penguin and waving a placard. The Camp for Climate Action was back last week, moving on from 2007's Heathrow protest to pitch tentsoutside the proposed site for Britain's first new coal-fired power station in 30 years. On Thursday, 1in-tall Campaigners scaled thereplica of Kingsnorth at Legoland at Windsor and unfurled a banner.
